How to Tame a Kweebec: Your New Best Friend

The Kweebecs are the adorable tree-people of Zone 1, and befriending a tribe can provide massive benefits to your playthrough.

Step 1: Do No Harm

This is obvious, but don’t chop down trees within their village boundaries. They take offense to that. If you see a “Sacred Grove” marker, put the axe away.

Step 2: Gifts of Life

Kweebecs value seeds and saplings.

• Tier 1 Friend: Give 10 Birch Seeds. (Unlocks trading)
• Tier 2 Friend: Give 5 Radiant Saplings. (Unlocks distinct village quests)

Step 3: Protecting the Elders

At night, Trorks will often raid Kweebec villages. If you intervene and defeat the raiding party, your reputation with the tribe will skyrocket.

Benefits of Alliance

Once you reach “Ally” status:

1. Free Housing: You can sleep in their swaying beds.
2. Resource Regeneration: Kweebec druids will cast spells to regrow crops around your base.
3. Companions: You can recruit a Kweebec Razorleaf Ranger to follow you into battle.

Remember, the Kweebec life cycle is unique. When they get too old, they stop moving and become permanent trees. Make sure to visit your old friends!
